 TECHNICAL BULLETINS
2010-11 Season

-- All Bedford/The Rock Shootout races are sanctioned by track rules at the Bedford Speedway.

-- Hobby Stock drivers may run the alternate tires previously allowed until June 19, 2010 but not in Bedford/Rock Shootout races. Legal tires are: Hoosier 500 size 8.0-27.0-15 or American Racer 70/205-15 Hard compound.

-- Street Stock cars not meeting the 2010-2011 specs must add 100 pounds for 2010.

-- ALL: Tow hooks or some other appropriately designed device to be used for towing on both ends of the car is MANDATORY.

-- ALL: During caution or red flags, ALL crew members and spectators must remain in the pit area.  NO unauthorized personnel will be permitted on the racing surface.   Track and safety officials are the only exception. Violation of this rule may result in disqualification or suspension.

-- ALL: Racing-approved harnesses (belts) are mandatory for all classes. The age of the belts will be inspected periodically. Belts carrying the SFI designation and label should be no older than three years as indicated by the label. Consult the label to determine the expiration. If you do not know how to locate the label, consult with the belt’s manufacturer or your dealer. Expired belts may be refurbished by a qualified manufacturer. Consult with the manufacturer or your dealer to learn about any savings from refurbishment. Labels must be present and may not be modified. No matter what age your belts show, they must be in proper condition for competition at all times.
