Altobelli, Troutman, Desch, Chamberlain, Michael, Best and Mills all winners on Aug. 28
CUMBERLAND, Md. – D.J. Troutman took the checkered in the George Hilliard Memorial and Mike Altobelli Jr. won the final Bedford-Rock Shootout in the main events on Saturday night at The Rock, Allegany County Speedway.
Mike Desch and Chris Chamberlain won the Street Stock races. Justin Michael was the Hobby Stock winner and James Best and Jamie Mills won the 4-Cylinder and 6/8-Cylinder features.
Make-up features and schedule updates
The following are the make-up dates from July 31. Make-up features will be held in addition to the scheduled events:
Sep. 11 - Hobby Stock, 4-Cyl and 6/8-Cyl (drivers qualified from July 31)
Our rain check policy, as was the case for the July 10 races, is to re-schedule any features if all heats have been completed rather than issue rain checks for future dates. Therefore, these features have been re-scheduled and rain checks will not be issued for the July 31 events.

POINTS OF EMPHASIS
-- All Bedford/The Rock Shootout races are sanctioned by track rules at the Bedford Speedway. See the tech page.
-- Hobby Stock drivers may run the alternate tires previously allowed until June 19, 2010 but not in Bedford/Rock Shootout races. Legal tires are: Hoosier 500 size 8.0-27.0-15 or American Racer 70/205-15 Hard compound. -- Street Stock cars not meeting the 2010-2011 specs must add 100 pounds for 2010. -- All driver's safety harnesses are expected to be up to date according to SFI standards, generally, within three years. No altering of labels. -- All cars must have tow hooks securely attached front and rear.

Noteworthy
-- The Rock welcomes Super 8 LaVale/Cumberland as the Official Host Hotel of The Rock. The infield backstretch has Tailgate Spots for the 2010 Racing Season.
These spots will carry a $50 (one time) fee. All special events (ie: SLM Specials, Kahuna, Nat'ls) are included.
These spots require the purchase of a weekly pit pass -- so they are ideal for families who are traveling with race teams or fans who want to be closer to the weekly action.
